Finite-Infinite
Sacred geometry as an expression of Divinity in Islamic and Romanian art was the inspiration behind the “Finite – Infinite” project, a collection of silk scarves and veils hand painted using the batik technique.
The name of the project, “Finite – Infinite”, has its origin in the symbolism of Islamic geometry. Geometric compositions with finite shapes can be extended to infinity, being interpreted as a reflection of God’s boundless. The “Finite-Infinite” project carries within the finite shapes of the geometrical forms seen as our physical limitation and the infinite possibility of combining and extending these geometries seen as our infinite love, thinking and spirituality.
