Expansion
Islamic geometry is grounded on the construction and division of the circle, the circle being the symbol of eternity, the symbol of “origin” and “end”. In the Expansion silk scarf is to be found the creation principle that is perfectly transposed into a geometric pattern through two complementary octagons. This rhythmic tandem of inspiration and exhilaration is the principle underlying the creation of the Universe and of everyday life.
