Trinity
The Trinity silk scarf is based on the shape and meaning of the portal as an interpretative pretext. The gates of the traditional Romanian households are distinguished by rich ornaments carved in wood, mostly in a circular form or derivations of it, like The Flower of Life. Passing through the gate is, in a symbolic sense, a transition from material to spiritual. Passing the gate means entering a protected space, safe from the evil.

Each silk scarf is hand painted locally in my studio in Ploiesti, Romania.
