Ethereal Beauty
My inspiration for this scarf was a wonderful gouache painting by Queen Marie of Romania from the manuscript she created in 1906 for King Ferdinand I. The stylized cross is a prevailing symbol in Queen Marie’s paintings for revival and faith and the elegant clematis flowers inspire the pursuit of the highest and the beauty of the mind.
